Sponsorship must support the Foundation’s non-profit objectives without compromising safeguarding, independence, professional standards or public trust.
Acceptance and due diligence
The Foundation may review a proposed sponsor, contribution, requested recognition and intended activity before acceptance. A contribution may be declined where it conflicts with the Foundation’s mission, safeguarding duties, law, programme needs or reasonable governance standards.
Written sponsorship agreement
Approved sponsorship should be documented in writing before benefits are promised. The agreement should identify the programme or event, contribution, approved use, recognition, reporting expectations, relevant dates and any agreed restrictions.
Sponsor recognition
Recognition is proportionate to the approved sponsorship and available programme channels. Logo use, event acknowledgement, social-media recognition and other benefits require prior approval and do not imply endorsement beyond the written arrangement.
Participant sponsorship and safeguarding
Participant support is administered by Well Care Bridge Foundation for approved programme needs. Sponsorship does not establish a direct personal or financial relationship between a sponsor and a participant, and participant information is protected through applicable privacy and safeguarding procedures.
In-kind sponsorship
Goods and services require prior acceptance. Medical supplies, transport, meals, venue space, printing, technology and educational materials should be suitable, safe, lawful and relevant to verified programme needs.
Restricted funds and reporting
Where a sponsorship is accepted for a defined purpose, the Foundation should record and administer it through its financial controls and provide the reporting or impact summary agreed in writing. Any material change in intended use should be managed transparently with the sponsor where appropriate.
